When installing new front porch railings, safety and local building code should be a first priority

The best way to find out your local building codes is to reach out to your local city office. If you do hire someone to do this project they will either pull a permit (which will then ensure you have done things right) or you will need to talk with them and make sure they are doing things up to code prior to the work.
