Many of the items you will see in his room linked below are functional storage pieces. I attempt to add storage where I can for my kids, and his room has a very small closet so that was very important.
The Broom holders work great for storing things like lacrosse sticks and light sabers. Wall bins for sports balls and stuffed animals, and the storage ottoman is full of his stuffed animals and blankets.
